If youve ever had to work under a boss that makes your life a nightmare, you might have been tempted to quit, start your own business, become your own boss. Unfortunately, there are several problems with this plan, if you can even call it that at this point. You might not have any money saved, any business knowledge, or even an idea for your business. However, hopefully, this will inspire you a little, so that you at least have some idea of the type of business you want to own. Cleaning Business Owning a cleaning business can lead you in many directions. You might want to clean homes, in which case, you are likely to be cleaning during the day, while the occupants are at work and school. On the other hand, you might want to work nights instead, while your other half is at home and can take care of the children. In this case, office blocks and restaurants could be a good source of work for you. Makeup Distributor There are plenty of makeup companies, such as Lipsense, which allow you to sell their products for a small fee and keep any profit. You may even be able to earn commissions on products sold by people that sign up because of you. If you didnt want to quit your job right away, you could fit this business around your current job, and work as much or as little as you want. Of course, if you become a lipsense distributor, you wont earn massive amounts of money unless you put in a decent amount of time and hard work. Pet Sitter Your work as a pet sitter can come in many forms, and, luckily, it will require very little money to get you started, so most of the money you earn will be pure profit. You can look after anything from dogs, to hamsters, to tortoises, so it wont ever be boring. Dogs can be a particularly big earner, especially if you live in a big city; Owners may have jobs that mean that they dont have enough time to walk, play with, and feed their four-legged friends, so are much more likely to hire a dog sitter to do the work for them. Wedding Planner If youre stuck for a business idea, what better one than helping someone organize their big day. There is a lot that goes into planning a wedding, which is why a lot of people need a little help. Before you even think about how to make this into a flourishing business, you need to ask yourself if you have everything it takes to be a wedding planner. You need to be good at planning (obviously), budgeting, problems solving, time management, listening, and negotiating. If you dont have all of these skills and more, no wedding planning certification is going to help you. While this definitely isnt a list of every business idea on the planet, it is varied, and will hopefully give you some inspiration when you decide the sort of business you want to run. We are always eager to hear from our readers. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions regarding CareerAlley content. Good luck in your search,Joey Google+
